Mutual fund managers have teams of people researching the markets to try to out-perform them. However, a small percentage of them actually achieve this. It begs the question then, why wouldn’t you just invest in an index fund of an ETF? If you are just in the index, you will suffer the full roller coaster ride of the ups and downs. The bottom line is it requires work, time, effort, expertise, and the ability to make decisions when your emotions could be getting the best of you. We deal with some of the best portfolio managers who consistently out-perform the markets in both the good and bad times.

Do I need a wealth manager or can I manage my finances myself?

What services are included in wealth management?

Along with our partner portfolio managers who take care of the investment component of your wealth management, we are full service financial planners which includes retirement planning, cash flow planning, tax optimization, estate planning, and risk management (insurance planning). Some firms also provide business planning, and succession strategies. The goal is to integrate all financial aspects into one coordinated plan. This ensures your financial decisions work together efficiently.

How do I choose the right wealth advisor?

For us this is an easy question. Our philosophy at New Outlook Wealth is to always put the client’s best interests first, ahead of everything else. This means working closely with the client to figure out what their needs are and what their expectations are. By understanding where you are now and what your goals are it will allow us to build a clear path to help you achieve your financial goals. It should be a collaborative approach with trust and transparency at the very core of the relationship. The biggest issue is working with a client that is engaged. If you want the help, we want to provide it for you. But you should be the priority instead of the assets you hold.

How much money do I need to start wealth management?

Some financial advisors do require a minimum to start investing and some investment institutions require a minimum amount of money to be invested with them in the beginning. but that’s not the way we look at it. We have always believed in the idea that if a person wants or needs help with their finances that it’s our aim to be a resource and support. We have a number of options for people who are just starting out and a bare minimum of $50/month is all that’s required to open an account and get started investing. That being said, the younger you are when you start, the better the long-term outcome. So, if you are looking for help, we’d love to give it to you.
